We use our own translation tools designed specifically for translation, as well as TRADOS, the industry-standard translation memory tool, and Idiom WorldServer™, the industry's leading globalization management system.
To localize a product, an enormous amount of files must be translated. A team of professionals is involved in translation. However, final translations must follow the same style however complex translation processes are. Localization of a product written in XML or another special language also requires correct reconfiguration of tags.
To clear these issues, different tools equipped with advanced search functions must be used. However, ready-made tools do not have adequate functions for the special mission of translation.
Therefore SunFlare developed its own tools designed for special functions, such as a tool to check translations for breaches of style rules and a tag search tool.
Lots of practical knowhow accumulated in years of experience are incorporated into these tools. These tools also provide a solid base for quality translation, service efficiency, and cost competitiveness.

Currrently, the check function can only be used with .ttx files, but Word files will be also supported and batch processing will be allowed in the future. |

One-byte characters can be distinguished from double-byte characters, kanji and kana can be used properly, and declensional kana endings can be checked.
At present, the style guides of Microsoft and Oracle are supported. However, CheckMate, which is under development, is superior in usability and scalability.
In the future, this tool will be integrated into CheckMate. |
